French Film Premiere Festival, organised by the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan with the support of Unifrance and the Eurasian Film Market, will take place from 29 September to 1 October 2026 at the Arman Cinema in Almaty. The festival will showcase a selection of French films that have not yet been released in Kazakhstan.

Each screening will be introduced by representatives of the Embassy of France.

Should the director or members of the cast of any of the featured films attend the festival, a Q&A session with the audience will be held following the screening.

Accredited participants of the Eurasian Film Market will have free access to all festival screenings upon presentation of their accreditation badge. Members of the public who are not accredited market participants will be able to purchase tickets for the screenings at the Arman Cinema box office.

The festival programme will be announced in September 2026.

Accredited participants of the Eurasian Film Market will be able to attend the screenings free of charge with their badge.

For audience members who are not accredited participants of the market, entry will also be free of charge, subject to availability of seats.
